PlusTerveys buys mental health provider Kuuleva, adding 160 professionals

Kuuleva, founded in 2019, offers individual, couples, and family therapy, plus other therapy services and work supervision, operating in nine locations and remotely nationwide.
Why now? Demand for mental health services in Finland has risen sharply in recent years, driven by growing needs and the spread of remote care. Occupational healthcare also leans on mental health services to support employees' work ability.
What changes? The combined company will offer mental health services from individual therapy to couples and family therapy, alongside psychiatry and psychology, both in person and remotely. "Together we can offer high-quality mental health services more comprehensively and faster to our customers," said Paavo Haataja, Kuuleva's chief executive officer and founder.

PlusTerveys wants to strengthen its role as an agile healthcare player, chief executive officer Joni Aaltonen said, adding that Kuuleva's site and professional network "complement our current service offering." The company reported €85 million in revenue in 2025 and employs about 800 people.
