Founded in 2018 and incubated at IIT Madras, Solinas builds full-stack robotics and AI for underground water and sanitation infrastructure, spanning inspection, cleaning, and infrastructure intelligence.

What's the endgame? The company will use the capital to expand manufacturing, develop products, strengthen software, and fund working capital as it scales government and enterprise contracts. It plans to deepen its international footprint in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and to extend into oil and gas and defence.

Solinas has deployed across more than 30 cities and 15 states, including an active deployment with Dubai Municipality. Chief executive officer Divanshu Kumar was named to Forbes India's 30 Under 30 in 2025.

Why now? Government programmes such as AMRUT, Jal Jeevan Mission, and the NAMASTE scheme are channelling an estimated $1.5–2 billion in annual investment into modern inspection and sanitation technology. That public spending is pulling capital toward startups turning hazardous manual work into robotics-led services.
