Li-FT Power raises C$20M in bought-deal offering to fund Renard project

What's the deal? Li-FT Power has entered an agreement for a C$20,010,000 bought-deal public offering, selling 6,900,000 common shares at C$2.90 each. Canaccord GenuityDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → is lead underwriter and sole bookrunner for a syndicate on the deal, expected to close on or about August 12, 2026.

Where's the money going? The Vancouver-based lithium explorer intends to use net proceeds to fund estimated first-year care and maintenance costs for the Renard option period, and for working capital.

Who's participating? Avenir MineralsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → holds an investor rights agreement that lets it participate in certain equity financings, and Li-FT expects it to join the offering. Underwriters also received a 30-day over-allotment option for up to 15% more shares.

What could go wrong? Closing is subject to conditions, including conditional acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange. The shares are offered across Canada excluding Québec, and elsewhere under private placement exemptions.

The signal: The offering — priced off a base shelf prospectus dated November 14, 2025 — points to a quick re-raise as Li-FT taps public markets to keep the Renard project funded and its balance sheet topped up.
