What's the endgame? Cycurion plans to combine the video and evidence management products with its AI-driven cybersecurity platform. The goal is a broader suite of security, analytics and evidence management tools for public sector customers.
The financials: The acquisition adds more than $5 million in annual revenue and over $1.2 million in EBITDA. It lifts Cycurion's pro forma annual revenue run rate to roughly $30 million and brings access to more than 800 law enforcement agencies, municipalities and public safety organisations.
The deal also includes a portfolio of more than 50 patents covering video surveillance, digital evidence management and related technologies. Cycurion said the intellectual property supports future products combining real-time video analytics, predictive threat intelligence and cybersecurity protections.
Why now? Many acquired clients already rely on Digital Ally's systems daily, giving Cycurion an installed base to cross-sell additional products. Chief executive L. Kevin Kelly said the deal gives the company "immediate access to more than 800 customers, creating significant opportunities to broaden the solutions we provide across public safety organizations."
Kelly said that base creates a foundation to expand adoption of Cycurion's wider portfolio, including its ARx platform, Cyber Shield offerings and managed cybersecurity services.
The signal: The transaction reflects growing convergence between physical security and cybersecurity as government agencies seek integrated platforms. By pairing evidence management and body-worn cameras with cybersecurity services, Cycurion is positioning itself as a broader technology provider to public safety agencies.
