Röko buys cycling-pad leader CyTech, its 40th-plus deal since 2019

What does CyTech do? Through Elastic Interface, it is the global market leader in cycling-pant pads and related products. Its goods are sold to top cycling apparel brands and used by most of the world's pro teams.
What's the endgame? Röko is a perpetual owner of small and medium-sized European businesses, holding 35 companies across a range of industries. CyTech will be consolidated in its B2C segment from August 2026, though Röko does not expect a significant earnings impact this financial year.
Why now? The deal marks Röko's third platform acquisition in Italy. Since its founding in 2019, the company has completed more than 40 acquisitions.
The signal: Röko's steady pace — dozens of deals in under seven years — reflects the serial-acquirer model of buying niche market leaders and holding them long term, extending that strategy deeper into Italy.
