Transform Health Partners buys two Washington surgical practices
What's the deal? Transform Health Partners has acquired Northwest Weight & Wellness Center (NWWC)Dealroom has a profile for this one. NWWC is a bariatric and wellness practice serving patients across the Pacific Northwest, while Sound Surgeons is its accredited surgical center focused on minimally invasive care. Terms were not disclosed.
What's the endgame? Transform Health Partners is a healthcare management and consulting organization that owns or supports nearly 30 medical practices nationwide. The acquisition expands its network of bariatric, metabolic, and surgical services across the region.
What changes? The company plans to add service lines to both the practice and surgical center and upgrade facilities with robotic capabilities. It is also recruiting physicians in bariatric surgery, general surgery, gynecology, cosmetic surgery, and pain relief.
