What's the endgame? Founded in 2021 by Allan Paiotti and Fernando Domingues, Cannect wants to move beyond cannabis into chronic disease treatment broadly. The group now projects revenue above R$200 million by the end of 2028.
Why now? Cannect says Pill solves the main challenge in chronic care: patients dropping treatment. The combined platform lets patients schedule automatic medication delivery, reducing missed refills.
With the acquisition, Cannect expands access to more than 17,000 medications, adding cardiology, pneumology, nephrology, gastroenterology, and oncology to its existing neurology, psychiatry, pediatrics, geriatrics, and endocrinology specialists.
"Caring for a chronic disease requires active, continuous follow-up," Paiotti said. "By integrating Pill into Grupo Cannect, we expand available treatments for any chronic condition." Technical integration has begun and will roll out over three months.
