Inocras raises $31M Series B to bring whole-genome cancer testing to the US

What's the endgame? Inocras wants to make whole-genome analysis a standard part of cancer care. Its platform powers CancerVision, which profiles tumours, and MRDVision, which detects molecular residual disease.
Where's it expanding? The proceeds will fund a US commercial and operational build-out, extending an approach already deployed across Asia. Inocras serves more than 100 cancer institutions, roughly 30 hospitals in South Korea, and holds a commercial presence in Hong Kong.
Why now? The round follows scientific validation of the company's method. Working with the Broad Institute, Inocras analysed whole-genome data from The Cancer Genome Atlas across thousands of cancer cases.
What they said: "Our next objective is to bring that clinical experience to the United States and help make whole-genome analysis a standard part of cancer care," said chief executive officer Jehee Suh.
The signal: As whole-genome sequencing edges toward broader adoption in oncology, Inocras is betting its Asian track record can translate into a US market that increasingly demands comprehensive genomic testing.
