Arrakis Security raises $8M Seed to secure enterprise AI agents

Who's behind it? Founders Tal Baron, Omer Efrat, and Ron Shani are veterans of Torq and Palantir. The company employs around 20 people.
Why now? Enterprises are rapidly deploying autonomous AI systems that access sensitive data and execute workflows without human supervision. Arrakis argues that traditional security tools, built for human users interacting with machines, cannot govern software that acts independently.
What's the endgame? The platform discovers AI agents across an organisation, builds behavioural profiles, and monitors activity in real time. When it detects suspicious actions — such as data exfiltration or privilege abuse — it can block them, revoke permissions, or suspend integrations. The new funding will expand its research, development, and product teams in Israel.
What's the pitch? Arrakis says companies face a "visibility illusion": they know an agent exists but lack detail on what it is doing and whether it complies with policy. "You cannot secure a machine that thinks and operates differently from humans using security tools that were designed to monitor humans interacting with machines," said Baron.
The signal: As agentic AI moves into CRMs, financial data, and internal workflows, a new security layer is forming around non-human identities — shifting the focus from who has access to what autonomous systems actually do once inside.
