What's the endgame? Ergün Holding has provided financing across the automotive value chain for years and now wants to own the customer relationship. It plans to strengthen Otosende's technology, expand its service network, and roll out new products to its existing base of one million customers.
Why now? Chairman and chief executive officer Özbey Ergün said the decision was data-driven, pointing to demand in the market. He described a very large group of people in Türkiye who want to buy a car.
Ergün said Otosende's growth potential, digital operations, and market outlook were decisive factors. He added that the company would put its financing power, technology, and customer base behind the platform.
