What's the deal? Cloud for GoodDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Salesforce consulting partner focused on education, nonprofit, and financial services, has acquired StackNexusDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a firm specialising in Salesforce solutions for state and local government. Terms were not disclosed.
What each does: Cloud for Good, a certified B Corporation founded in 2010, builds Salesforce solutions for mission-driven organisations. StackNexus implements Salesforce for government agencies, with expertise in citizen engagement (311), licensing, permitting and inspections, and grants management.
Why now? The deal follows Cloud for Good's acquisition of EMS Consulting in March 2026. In 2025, it added Tommie Fern, EVP of SLED sales at Salesforce, to its board to guide its government strategy.
What's the endgame? Cloud for Good wants to become "the leading Salesforce partner serving State and Local governments across North America," said founder and chief executive officer Tal Frankfurt. It plans to fold StackNexus's intellectual property into its own suite and extend those tools to nonprofit, higher education, and financial services clients.
The combined firm will operate under the Cloud for Good brand, with no changes to existing client support models.
What changes for customers? StackNexus chief executive officer Suman Akula said joining Cloud for Good lets it "increase the velocity" of helping government agencies modernise. Clients keep existing relationships while gaining expanded delivery capabilities.
The signal: The acquisition marks a second deal in months for Cloud for Good and reflects consolidation among Salesforce partners chasing the public sector, where agencies face pressure to deliver more connected, resident-centred services. It also deepens Cloud for Good's push into next-generation Salesforce tools, including Agentforce and Data Cloud.
