Bezeq International merges Cloudojo and CloudEdge into single cloud, data, and AI unit

Why now? The company said the move responds to shifts in the IT market. It is part of a broader internal reorganisation across cloud, data, cyber, and artificial intelligence.
What's the endgame? The merger combines Cloudojo's AWS, data, and AI expertise — mostly with technology firms and startups — with CloudEdge's Microsoft, cloud, and security work in large enterprises and the public sector. Bezeq International expects the combination to deepen work with existing clients and let it compete for larger, more complex projects.
The unit will be led by Nissim Caspi, currently chief executive officer of CloudEdge. Haim Hazak, chief executive officer of Cloudojo, will become chief business officer. The merger is set to complete during the third quarter of 2026.
Once done, the two companies will operate as one body offering enterprise clients products, services, and solutions across multiple cloud environments — from infrastructure and data management through security to AI solutions.
"Merging the companies into one body is meant to create new growth engines, both by expanding activity with existing clients and by entering new clients and markets," said Meni Baruch, chief executive officer of Bezeq International. He added that customers "are looking for a strategic partner able to provide a broad envelope of services," while vendors and cloud providers prefer to work with large integrators with diverse capabilities.
Bezeq International TECH was founded in 1996 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bezeq, Israel's largest telecommunications group. It operates a network of 13 data centres in Israel and abroad, including an underground disaster-recovery site, and runs a security operations centre for cyber defence.
