Why now? Bordaberry said TecsPal was already profitable and initially resisted selling. It changed course after seeing synergy between HR and global hardware management, plus a shared "fit cultural y la visión" with Vensure.
What's the endgame? TecsPal will keep its name, structure, and team, and continue to be led from Uruguay. The plan is to grow from over 60 to 200 staff by 2028, with a focus on young Uruguayan talent, and to triple current revenue by 2027.
What changes? Joining Vensure lets TecsPal "ganar en velocidad" — reaching larger clients and new markets faster by tapping a global group's scale. Its role will be equipment delivery, control, and recovery within Vensure's full employee lifecycle offering.
The signal: A profitable, bootstrapped Latin American startup selling a majority stake to a US player reflects how global employer-services firms are consolidating specialist tools to build end-to-end offerings for distributed workforces.
