What's the endgame? Levels runs a rankings, ratings, and community platform for racket sports, using data to produce more accurate player ratings and match players of similar ability. Available on web and mobile, it combines performance data, dynamic rankings, and social features so users can track progress, compete, and connect.

Why now? Having built a user base in squash, the company is expanding into other racket sports, starting with padel — a much larger global market. The new capital will fund platform development, new sports verticals, and hiring across commercial and data teams.

The investor angle: The PSA is not just a backer but part of the sport itself. "SquashLevels has proven to be a real value add for the sport of squash and we are excited to see Levels expand into other racket sports," said Tommy Berden, its chief commercial officer.

Co-CEO Jethro Binns, a former professional squash player, framed the raise as fuel for scale. "This investment allows us to accelerate that vision, develop the platform further and grow our partnerships internationally," he said.

The signal: Participation in racket sports such as padel is rising fast worldwide, and demand for real-time data, community features, and personalised experiences is climbing with it. That gives platforms connecting players, clubs, and federations through accurate data a widening opening — one Levels is betting it can occupy across multiple sports.
