Citi buys ₹1,362 crore of IndiGo shares after founder Bhatia trims stake

What's the deal? Citigroup, through its affiliate Citigroup Global Markets India, has acquired shares in InterGlobe Aviation, which operates IndiGoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → Airlines, in open market transactions worth ₹1,362 crore.

Why now? The purchase follows IndiGo co-founder Rahul Bhatia's divestment of a 2% stake in the airline, which fetched roughly ₹3,367.30 crore.
