Encore AI raises $30M Series A to build agents that learn from customer calls

What's the deal? Encore AI has raised a $30 million Series A led by Team8, with participation from Yasmin LukatzDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Planven and Garage, alongside several banks and insurers — some of which were customers before they became investors.

The startup builds AI agents that learn from a company's own customer conversations to handle support and sales.

Who's behind it? Encore AI is led by co-founder and CEO Dr. Dvir GinzburgDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, who founded the company in 2022 as Insait IO — originally building recommendation software for financial advisers and relationship managers before rebranding and expanding into agentic AI.

Ginzburg calls the approach "interaction mining": the platform ingests call recordings, emails and CRM data, breaks conversations into stages, and identifies which moves actually moved a deal forward. "We literally run by the playbooks that we see working," he has said — the resulting agent bundles the strongest tactics of an organisation's best people, sometimes down to the anecdotes and jokes that land.

What it does. Encore's agents can speak with customers directly by voice or text, or ride alongside human reps as a real-time assistant recommending responses. The company says it has more than 40 enterprise customers globally — the majority financial institutions — and that annual recurring revenue has grown more than 5x since its seed round less than 18 months ago.

What's the money for? The Series A will fund an expansion of Encore's U.S. sales operations and deeper deployments with large financial institutions, as it races to defend an early lead against CRM incumbents like Salesforce, SAP and HubSpot.

The signal: Encore's pitch — and the fact that customers turned into investors — reflects a shift in enterprise AI away from generic assistants and toward agents trained on how a company's best employees actually work.
