Lean Solutions Group buys Rapido, building a 13,000-strong logistics talent force

What's the deal? Lean Solutions Group (LSG), a provider of AI-enabled business solutions and tech-powered talent, has acquired Rapido Solutions GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a specialised talent provider for the transportation and logistics (T&L) industry. The deal, announced July 29, 2026, creates a combined workforce of about 13,000. Terms were not disclosed.

What each side brings: Rapido supplies talent across customer and carrier support, carrier sales, sales operations, back-office administration, and technology services. It serves freight brokerages, third-party logistics providers, and asset-based carriers — the same ecosystem that makes up LSG's 600-plus client base.

Why now? The deal follows LSG's recently announced acquisition of HubtekDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s services division. Together, the moves expand LSG's carrier sales capacity and consolidate its position in AI-enabled talent for T&L.

Why Mexico matters: The acquisition significantly expands LSG's operations in Mexico, one of its most strategic delivery markets. Shared time zones enable real-time collaboration with US freight markets, and Mexico's status as the largest US land-border trading partner suits it to cross-border work involving freight flows, customs, and carrier networks.

Mexico's logistics workforce has grown alongside a 42% increase in its economically active population since 2005, with gains among bilingual professionals trained in supply chain and cross-border operations.

What's the endgame? "Together, we are raising the bar for what AI-enabled talent solutions can deliver," said Jack Freker, CEO of Lean Solutions Group. Rapido's clients gain access to LSG's AI-enabled technology and global delivery platform.

Danny Frisco, CEO of Rapido Solutions Group, framed the deal as a step forward for both clients and staff. "This is a strong next step for our clients, and an exciting new chapter for our people," he said.

The signal: The back-to-back acquisitions of Rapido and Hubtek's services division point to consolidation in the logistics talent market, as providers race to pair skilled cross-border teams with AI-enabled technology.
