Sigvi raises €1.2M pre-seed to automate car rentals for independent fleets
What's the deal? Sigvi, an AI-powered revenue platform for the car rental industry, has raised €1.2 million in pre-seed funding. Superhero CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. What's the endgame? Founded by Vytis Šliažas, Ignas Gibas, and Mindaugas Banaitis, Sigvi lets independent fleet operators and private owners rent out vehicles through a fully automated platform. It owns no cars itself; instead, it aggregates existing fleets and uses AI to run the rental lifecycle — dynamic pricing, bookings, keyless 24/7 access, inspections, predictive maintenance, and customer support.
Where is it expanding? Sigvi launched in Poland in June 2026 and now manages more than 200 vehicles serving tourists and long-term renters. The fresh capital will fund further platform development and expansion of its managed vehicle network internationally.
Why now? European travel is climbing while car rental stays largely manual. Travellers spent nearly 3.1 billion nights in EU tourist accommodation in 2025, according to Eurostat.
The signal: Sigvi is betting that idle private fleets plus automation can undercut incumbents — it says its prices run about 30% below traditional international rental brands. "Travellers expect to book a car as easily as they book accommodation," said Šliažas. "We're building the AI layer that connects both sides, unlocking cheaper, greener, and fully digital car rental."
