What's the endgame? Founded in 2018, Konligo replaces the heavy, slow equipment used to build festival stages with rapidly deployable alternatives. Its flagship "Fastival" is an 8 by 4 meter stage roof that two people can assemble in under 30 minutes, rated for winds up to 100 kilometers per hour.

MTN supports thousands of events each year, including F1, CMA Fest, and FIFA 2026. "We believe we're only scratching the surface of this rapid-deployment technology, especially as we collaborate on new products that combine our respective areas of expertise," said Ron Rose, MTN's global managing director.

Why the partner mix? "Our goal was to accelerate Konligo by bringing in expertise that takes the company to the next level," said Aushim Koumar, Konligo's chief executive officer and founder. "That's why the mix of strategic partners and a VC fund mattered."

What's the money for? The funds will accelerate the global rollout of "The Tent" — a structure one person can set up in under five minutes without tools — and support development of larger event structures. Konligo is also exploring new applications, including structures to protect people and equipment in the defense sector.

The signal: By pairing a VC fund with industry insiders, Konligo is betting that speed and sustainable engineering — its aluminum contains 70 to 80 percent recycled material — can reshape a corner of live events that the public rarely sees.
