Try Dealroom →, a platform serving the US health and fitness industry, has raised a seed round led by Poland's Simpact VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. What does it do? ForActive runs a SaaS marketplace that connects trainers, instructors, and sports clubs with people looking to stay active. It automates payments, marketing, and scheduling, and charges only once trainers start earning — no upfront fixed costs.

What's the money for? Product development and US expansion. ForActive already has 13,000 customers there.

Who's backing it? Simpact Ventures, which bills itself as Poland's first impact-investing VC fund, led the round. Konrad HowardDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Booksy co-founder, also joined and is helping scale the business operationally.

Why it matters: The US market rests on independent instructors, personal trainers, and local organisers who still lack proper digital tools. "Available solutions ignore a large, important part of the market," said Bieganski, co-founder and chief executive officer.

The gap has social weight too. According to National Survey of Children's Health data, just over 50% of US children take part in organised physical activity, leaving millions without access.

The signal: The round shows impact-focused capital moving toward tools that serve overlooked service workers, betting that democratising access to professional software can carry both commercial and social returns. "We see both business potential and a social dimension in this solution," said Wojciech Majewski, a partner at Simpact Ventures.
