What's the deal? MenoVidaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a UK women's health startup, has closed the first phase of its pre-seed round, announced in July 2026. The company ran the raise through the FounderCatalystDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → platform for a fixed fee of £1,495.
What's the endgame? Founded by Jo Mavridis, MenoVida is building an app that helps women track symptoms, lifestyle factors, medications, and supplements in under a minute a day. It then generates GP reports from that data, aiming to make the most of short appointments.
Why now? Menopause symptoms are complex and can last years, yet a standard GP appointment runs just 10 minutes. That leaves even well-informed women struggling to present a clear history in the time available.
What's next? The funding will help MenoVida complete its minimum lovable product and soft launch this year, backed by 22 specialist ambassadors with access to communities reaching more than 300,000 women. A wider launch is planned for early 2027, and a second round is opening shortly to complete the remaining SEIS allowance.
The app was developed with a specialist Health Advisory Board. "A very exciting phase of growth lies ahead," said Max Heal, chief executive officer at FounderCatalyst.
The signal: MenoVida targets a support gap that affects 13 million women in the UK. Its low-cost, platform-driven raise reflects how early-stage health startups are trimming fundraising overheads to move faster.
