What's the endgame? The deal gives Micross its first scaled foothold in continental Europe, adding to existing facilities in the United Kingdom and Denmark. AEMtec brings cleanroom sites in Berlin and Dresden, Germany, and Boston, Massachusetts, plus expertise spanning wafer back-end services, wafer testing, chip-on-board, flip chip, 3D integration, and opto packaging.
