DHL buys Baltic parcel firm Venipak to grow European delivery network

The numbers: Venipak posted €85.6 million in revenue for 2025 and EBITDA of €12.4 million. Its strategic plan targets more than €100 million in Baltic revenue for 2026, with EBITDA of €14 million.

Venipak runs about 800 parcel lockers and 25 logistics terminals across the three Baltic states, employing roughly 1,000 staff and around 350 independent couriers. DHL employs more than 389,000 people across over 220 countries and is part of DHL Group, which reported about €82.9 billion in revenue in 2025.

What's the endgame? Over the next one to two years, DHL plans to invest in Venipak's staff, locker network expansion, sorting capacity at key terminals, and IT infrastructure. Venipak's Baltic clients will gain access to DHL eCommerce's global network, reaching more than 165,000 parcel lockers and pickup points worldwide.

Why now? Pablo Ciano, head of DHL eCommerce, said the acquisition will help DHL expand its parcel delivery network in Europe while letting Venipak "grow faster."

The signal: The deal shows global logistics giants deepening their footprint in the Baltics by absorbing established regional players rather than building networks from scratch.
