What's the deal? Crush Software SolutionsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Salt Lake City platform built for automotive recyclers, has closed an early-stage round backed by four industry operators: Pull-A-PartDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, EZ Pull N Pay, Kenny U-Pull, and American Iron & MetalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The company announced the strategic investments on July 24, 2026.

What's the endgame? Crush develops cloud-based tools to help recyclers manage vehicle acquisition, yard operations, inventory, and enterprise performance. Its platform includes CrushBuy, which generates data-driven purchase recommendations using VIN data, wholesale values, and catalytic converter pricing.

What's next? The company is building YardOps, a platform to manage a vehicle's full lifecycle after purchase — receiving, processing, inventory, and multi-location reporting. Integrated with CrushBuy, it aims to connect acquisition with daily yard operations.

Why now? The investors are more than financiers. Each will contribute operating knowledge and real-world feedback as Crush expands its platform.

"The industry's leading operators are not simply adopting CRUSH technology. They are becoming owners and helping us build what comes next," said chief executive officer Ryan Paterson.

Who's backing it? Pull-A-Part, led by chief executive officer Ross Kogon, operates more than 35 self-service recycling locations across the US. Kenny U-Pull operates as part of American Iron & Metal, adding metals processing to the group's collective experience in vehicle acquisition and multi-location operations.

"The best software is developed alongside the people who use it every day," said chief operating officer Dimitri Gerontis. "These strategic investors will help us continue building solutions grounded in real operational needs."

The signal: Bringing customers in as owners aligns product development with operators who know the business. For a niche vertical like automotive recycling, that operator buy-in may matter as much as the capital.
