Daycoval raises record R$2.5B in debt as demand hits 2.5x

What's the deal? Banco DaycovalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised R$2.5 billion (about $492 million) through the issuance of letras financeiras — a form of bank debt — split across three series maturing in two, three, and four years. The Brazilian lender said the volume is a record for the bank.

Why now? Demand reached R$6.1 billion, nearly 2.5 times the offer. The papers priced at the bank's lowest-ever rates, even against a more uncertain macroeconomic backdrop.

The signal: The raise ranks in the top 5% of debt rounds by fintechs in Brazil, all-time. Strong appetite at record-low rates suggests investors remain confident in Daycoval's credit despite macroeconomic headwinds.
