Elikonos backs 1948-founded Greek bakery To Manna in fifth fund deal

What's the deal? Greece's Elikonos CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has taken a growth equity stake in "To Manna" N. Tsatsaronakis, a Cretan bakery producer operating since 1948. The investment, made through the Elikonos 3 S.C.A. SICAV-RAIF fund, marks the fund's fifth deal.

What does the company do? To Manna runs a production facility in Chania, combining modern processes with traditional techniques and food safety standards. It holds a strong position in the Greek market and has an established export presence.

What's the endgame? The capital will fund the company's growth plan, with a focus on expanding abroad. The aim is to build on demand for Greek and Mediterranean food and strengthen the brand's position at home and internationally.

What they said: "Our partnership with Elikonos 3 is an important moment for us," said Eleni Tsatsaronaki, the company's chief executive officer. Elikonos Capital partner Dimitris Vidakis called To Manna "one of the most recognisable and beloved Greek brands" in food.

The signal: The deal reflects continued private equity interest in established, family-run Greek food producers with export potential — backing brands built on decades of trade rather than early-stage bets.
