Jitendra Vaswani acquires Noida content agency Maxzob for AI search push
What's the deal? SEO entrepreneur Jitendra Vaswani has acquired Maxzob, a Noida-based content marketing and SEO agency serving SaaS and e-commerce brands in more than 15 countries. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal closed in July 2026.
Who's who? Founded in 2017 by former journalist Pragya Jha, Maxzob has completed over 2,000 content projects, kept a 98% client retention rate, and delivered an average of 350% organic traffic growth for long-term clients. Vaswani is the founder and chief executive officer of DigiexeDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an AI-powered performance marketing agency.
What changes? Maxzob keeps its brand, its full team, and its Noida office, and will honour existing client commitments. It now plugs into Vaswani's AI-powered SEO infrastructure, international client pipeline, and affiliate marketing ecosystem.
Why now? Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, and Gemini are reshaping how people find information, forcing brands to rethink content strategy. Generic, AI-generated content is being penalised, while authority and first-hand expertise — the pillars of Google's E-E-A-T framework — drive organic visibility.
The rationale: "Acquiring Maxzob is not about buying revenue," said Vaswani. "It is about buying a philosophy that I believe will define the next decade of SEO." He praised the agency's editorial discipline, shaped by Jha's background at Hindustan Times and ABP News.
What's the endgame? Maxzob will roll out new service lines in coming quarters, including Generative Engine Optimization — making brands visible inside AI answer engines — plus programmatic SEO for SaaS companies and enterprise content operations for multilingual pipelines.
The portfolio: Vaswani's other ventures include BloggersIdeas, a SEO and affiliate publication read by more than three million marketers a year, and AffiliateBooster, a WordPress plugin used by publishers in over 60 countries. He has said he plans to invest six figures into acquiring and scaling Indian digital agencies through 2027.
The signal: The acquisition points to consolidation among Indian digital agencies as they reposition for AI-driven search. As algorithms and language models reward genuine expertise over volume, buyers are betting that editorial credibility, not scale, becomes the differentiator.
