Teramot raises $1.1M seed to feed corporate data to AI agents

What's the deal? Teramot, an Argentine deeptech startup, raised a $1.1 million seed round with participation from Natan VC and addventureDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, alongside angel investors based in Argentina, the US, and ecosystems including Stanford. Founded in January 2022 by physicist Bruno Ruyú, the Rosario-based company builds an autonomous data-engineering platform that connects, cleans, and normalises corporate data so AI agents can use it.

What's the endgame? Ruyú calls data fragmentation the "talón de Aquiles" — Achilles heel — of enterprise AI. Teramot's platform automatically links scattered sources such as ERPs, CRMs, data warehouses, and spreadsheets, reporting implementation-time cuts of up to 90% and costs near 10% of traditional data-integration services.

Why now? The seed round marks a clear step-up from Teramot's earlier backing, which included $780,000 from CITESDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and $100,000 from angel investor Ryta Zasiekina. Total capital raised has reached more than $2.5 million.

Where's it expanding? Teramot already serves clients in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Paraguay — among them Coca-ColaDealroom has a profile for this one. It now plans to open a Silicon Valley office and push commercially into the Middle East, targeting the larger but more competitive US market next.

The signal: Teramot's staged financing — validating with regional seed capital before chasing bigger markets — is a familiar path for Latin American deeptech. The company projects $2 million in revenue this year, a test of whether Argentine technical talent can scale enterprise AI tooling globally without an early Silicon Valley base.
