What's the deal? Hogan AssessmentsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired Convogo, an AI-powered platform that helps talent professionals combine Hogan assessment data with other information through a guided workflow. Terms were not disclosed.
What does each company do? Hogan produces personality assessments used by more than 75% of the Fortune 500 for hiring and talent development. Convogo helps coaches, consultants, and talent professionals synthesize interviews, surveys, and feedback data more efficiently.
What's the endgame? Hogan wants to expand its technology and bring AI into how it delivers talent insights. Convogo organizes Hogan results alongside other inputs and produces an initial interpretation that users can review and refine using their own training.
Why now? "As AI continues to transform the workplace, we believe it can help talent professionals work more efficiently without compromising the scientific rigor or human expertise our clients expect," said Allison Howell, chief executive officer of Hogan Assessments.
Convogo co-founder Matt Cooper said Hogan has "the reach, credibility, and long-term vision to carry that work forward."
The signal: The deal reflects a broader push to embed AI in talent assessment while keeping human judgment in the loop. Hogan, which has operated for nearly four decades, is betting AI can accelerate analysis without displacing the professionals who interpret it.
