Try Dealroom →, with participation from GIMIC VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and new minority investor Vend Mobility. The startup runs a digital platform for buying and selling used electric vehicles across Europe.

Why now? This is Aampere's second public round since October 2025, when it raised €1.6 million from the same lead backers. The step-up signals fast momentum: the company says revenue has grown fourfold in the 12 months to mid-2026.

What's the endgame? Founded in 2022 by three TU Munich engineering graduates, Aampere now sells several thousand EVs annually. Sellers use a self-learning pricing algorithm, complete a digital condition check, and enter a Europe-wide dealer auction, receiving an offer within 48 hours. The model is closer to Auto1Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s dealer-auction approach than to listing sites such as AutoScout24Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → or heycar. Once a seller accepts, Aampere pays before collecting the car from their home.

The round values Aampere above €20 million, though the company says the exact figure is confidential. GIMIC's added stake amounts to €660,000, split between a convertible loan and equity.

Who's backing it? Vend Mobility is part of the Vend MarketplacesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → group behind FINN.no, Blocket, and Bilbasen. "EV adoption [is] accelerating rapidly across the Nordics," said David Hoffmann, vice president of strategy and growth, adding that Aampere "is tackling the resulting inventory imbalance with an intelligent transactional model."

The signal: Germany's used-EV market is now growing faster than the new-car market, and dedicated infrastructure is emerging to serve it. Rival Eccasion, founded by former Swapfiets executives, raised €3.2 million in April 2026 — evidence that investors see the secondary EV market as a gap general used-car platforms fail to fill.
