What does it do? Founded in 2024, Fromdi develops VIRKEYD, an AI engine that analyses processes, work environments, equipment data, and safety rules to predict site risks and recommend responses. It automates core safety tasks such as risk assessment, Tool Box Meetings, and Job Safety Analysis.

The traction: Fromdi runs pilots across construction, semiconductors, power plants, and food manufacturing. It completed proof-of-concept work with large firms and public bodies including CJ LogisticsDealroom has a profile for this one. What's the endgame? The startup will expand its process and safety-rule datasets, upgrade the AI engine, and push into high-risk sectors like construction and semiconductors. It also plans tighter links with existing systems such as equipment sensors, CCTV, and ERP.

Chief executive officer Han Won said Fromdi intends to move beyond safety into "quality and environment" compliance. CNT Tech director Choi Hyun-soon said demand for "AI-based decision-making and task automation" is rising fast in industrial safety, adding the company had strong potential to extend into industrial compliance.

The signal: The deal reflects growing investor interest in vertical AI that automates specific, regulated industrial workflows rather than general-purpose tools — turning safety compliance into a data-driven, auditable system.
