PAX Health acquires MAKRAF IME to expand New Jersey medical examination network

MAKRAF IME operates across 17 New Jersey counties, providing psychology and neuropsychology IMEs, disability evaluations and fitness-for-duty assessments used by state agencies, employers, insurers and attorneys.

Why it matters: The deal expands PAX Health's network of licensed examiners and strengthens its medical-legal services platform. It is PAX Health's fourth acquisition since the company's founding in 2024, continuing a run of deals that broaden its behavioral health footprint into adjacent, claims-driven markets.
