What's the deal? Leap PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired Central Heat & AirDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an HVAC provider in Cleveland, Tennessee. The Nashville-based home services company announced the deal on July 21, 2026; terms were not disclosed.

Who's involved? Central Heat & Air, led by Tony Bishop and Larry Gardner, has served the Cleveland community for over four decades. It will keep its brand name, and Bishop will continue to lead the business.

Why now? The deal extends Leap Partners' push across the Southeast. Since 2022, it has acquired 34 HVAC, plumbing, and electrical companies across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

What's the endgame? Leap Partners is consolidating home services firms to build what it calls a "world-class service provider." Its model keeps local leaders autonomous while adding capital and support to fund growth.

What changes for customers? Little, at least visibly. Central Heat & Air keeps its name, team, and local relationships, with Leap Partners providing backing to expand.

"Tony and Larry have built an outstanding business with a relentless focus on integrity and hassle-free service," said John Cerasuolo, chief executive officer of Leap Partners.

The signal: Home services remains a hot corner of the buy-and-build playbook, where operators roll up fragmented, family-run trades into regional platforms. Each tuck-in deal like Central Heat & Air adds density and pricing power in a market long dominated by independent contractors.
