What's the endgame? The company, based at York Science Park, has built what it calls a "true operating system" on the Salesforce platform. Founders Alex Rhodes and Ian Preston aim to deliver an AI suite offering sector-specific automation across the property journey, moving beyond generic chatbots.
What's the money for? Greenhouse OS plans to attract more multi-office estate agencies as clients, expand its engineering team, and deploy AI automation for tasks such as 24/7 viewing bookings. It employs almost 20 staff, including 10 engineers.
"This investment from Finance Yorkshire is the fuel that allows us to maintain the pace of innovation required in a competitive market," Rhodes said. He added the platform lets agencies "scale and evolve indefinitely without ever hitting a technology ceiling."
The signal: At £900,000, the round sits toward the smaller end of seed deals — around the 27th percentile by amount. For a regional startup building on established infrastructure like Salesforce, it is early proof that vertical, industry-specific software still draws investor backing.
