RealAI raises hundreds of millions of yuan in Series B for trustworthy AI
What's the deal? Beijing-based RealAIDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has closed dual Series B1 and B2 rounds, securing hundreds of millions of yuan to expand its enterprise-grade secure artificial intelligence platforms. The investment drew capital from Starlink Capital, China Merchants Group's Digital Trade Fund, Tsinghua Waterwood Alumni Seed Fund, Tsinghua Yuan Capital, Tsinghua Yuan Asia, and Fudi Venture Capital.
What does RealAI do? The software firm builds trustworthy foundation model architectures and technical verification systems for highly regulated sectors. Its tools aim to prevent algorithmic hallucinations, data leakage, and adversarial vulnerabilities as clients deploy large language models.
What's the money for? RealAI will accelerate core research, enhance verification systems, and scale commercial deployment. It plans to expand its footprint across state-owned enterprise workflows, public sector infrastructure, and tier-one financial institutions.
Why now? Data privacy mandates and regulatory scrutiny are pushing state-owned enterprises to adopt trustworthy computing layers before running large language models in core administrative and financial workflows. As AI handles more sensitive institutional data, clients want third-party auditing tools and privacy-preserving frameworks.
The signal: The presence of state-backed innovation funds points to a capital pivot toward specialized safety infrastructure. In China's regulated sectors, securing AI deployments is becoming as much a priority as building the models themselves.
