Try Dealroom → has raised 610 million INR ($7.3 million) in a Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Info Edge VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Eximius VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The company runs an AI-native travel platform that handles the full customer journey — from discovery and itinerary planning to bookings and an on-trip concierge service.
By the numbers: At roughly $7.3 million, the round sits in the 56th percentile for deals of its kind — a solid, mid-range Series A rather than an outlier. 30 Sundays says it has reached an annualised gross booking value run rate of about 2 billion INR across Bali, Vietnam, the Maldives, and Thailand.
What's the endgame? The startup will use the capital to build out its product, strengthen its AI capabilities, and grow its team. It also plans to invest in marketing as it enters new markets.
Why now? 30 Sundays recently launched in New Zealand and Mauritius and is preparing to enter Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines. It is riding India's outbound leisure travel market, which it pegs at roughly $25 billion and growing about 11.4% a year, driven by an expanding middle class, easing visa norms, and low-cost carriers.
The company has embedded AI across lead qualification, itinerary creation, follow-ups, and reservations, and claims a 2x productivity gain in its sales team.
What they're saying: "We built 30 Sundays to make travel honest and effortless," said Kshitij Chaudhary, co-founder and chief executive officer. "Every customer gets a trip designed around them, sees exactly what they're paying for, and has a guide in their pocket the moment they land."
Kitty Agarwal, partner at Info Edge Ventures, pointed to early traction: "Very few new consumer platforms see their kind of organic and referral numbers so soon."
The signal: Investors are backing AI-driven consumer travel plays as Indian outbound tourism scales. 30 Sundays' pitch — replacing static PDFs and hidden mark-ups with a personalised, transparent service — is a bet that structural demand and a human-in-the-loop AI model can win a share of a fast-growing market.
