Decowraps buys Broekhof USA, extending its flower-packaging push into North America

What's the deal? DecowrapsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired Broekhof USA, a flower-packaging supplier and subsidiary of Paardekooper, effective July 1, 2026. The deal deepens Decowraps' presence in the North American market. Terms were not disclosed.

What's the endgame? The acquisition is the latest move in a wider expansion that began in the Netherlands. In October 2025, Decowraps Europe BV agreed with the trustee of Paardekooper Horti to acquire selected assets and inventory there, including manufacturing equipment tied to production in Kosovo.

Why the Americas? Decowraps has since picked up Paardekooper's subsidiaries across the region. It acquired Broekhof Colombia — adding a distribution center in Rionegro and integrating its team — and now Broekhof USA, based in Miami.

The rationale: "This acquisition strengthens our footprint in the U.S. market and is a natural continuation of the steps we have taken in the Netherlands and Colombia," said chief executive officer Steven Tchira. He added the combined organisations can offer "a broader product range, shorter lead times, and improved supply chain efficiency."

What changes for customers? Products previously sourced from Broekhof USA can now be ordered directly through Decowraps, alongside its existing range. Customers with pending orders can reach a dedicated Decowraps service team.

The signal: The string of deals shows Decowraps consolidating Paardekooper's fractured operations into a single supply chain spanning Europe, Colombia, and the US — a bid to serve global flower buyers under one roof.
