BTS – Most Holding takes 67% of Yuzhuralzoloto for 93.2B rubles

What's the deal? BTS – Most Holding, the company owned by businessman Ruslan Baisarov, has acquired a controlling stake in gold miner PAO YuzhuralzolotoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (YGK). According to corporate disclosure filings, BTS – Most Holding gained control of 149,816,388,208 voting shares — a 67.2489% stake in the company.

The terms: The YGK stake was put up for auction with a starting price of 140.4 billion rubles. On July 6, 2026, BTS – Most Holding paid Rosimushchestvo the full price for the controlling stake and related company holdings acquired at the auction for 93.2 billion rubles. The combined value of the assets previously held by businessman Konstantin Strukov and associated parties stood at 162 billion rubles.

What changes? On July 7, 2026, YGK told Vedomosti that the company had renamed itself BTS-Zoloto, with Oleg Shiryaev appointed as its new head.

What's the endgame? BTS – Most is betting on investment in the mining sector and access to valuable raw material assets. Vedomosti reported on June 22, 2026 that these include gold, silver, copper, lithium, platinum-group metals, and rare earths.

The signal: The deal marks the transfer of one of Russia's major gold producers into new ownership through a state-run auction, expanding BTS – Most's footprint in resource extraction.
