Fixfast Group acquires OSC Sales, adding trio of construction fixings brands

Try Dealroom →, a specialist construction fixings provider, along with its three brands: Carpenters Mate, Orbix and Optimaxx. The companies announced the deal on 13 July 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

What changes for OSC? OSC shareholders will become shareholders in the wider Fixfast Group. The OSC brands will keep their exclusive distributor-based route to market and will not sell direct to consumers.

Why it matters: The acquisition adds a trade merchant division to Fixfast, which makes fasteners for the sheeting and cladding market, giving it insight across construction fasteners and room to grow further across the sector. For OSC, joining the group brings access to UK manufacturing, technical capability, engineering expertise and Fixfast's accreditations. "Joining the Fixfast Group gives us access to UK manufacturing, world-class technical expertise, and industry-leading accreditations," said Fraser Dunn of OSC.
