Who is Tramex? Founded in 1974 and based in County Wicklow, Ireland, Tramex developed the world's first non-destructive moisture meters. Its products span building inspection, flooring, roofing, water damage restoration, indoor air quality, and wood and concrete applications.

The financials: Tramex has annual revenues of about SEK 90 million and an adjusted EBITA margin of roughly 20%, which Volati says will strengthen Corroventa's margins. The deal is financed through Volati's existing credit facilities.

What's the endgame? The acquisition adds measurement instruments to Corroventa's drying solutions, broadening its offering in moisture detection and control. "The combination of strong premium brands, complementary offerings, and shared expertise creates a compelling value proposition for our customers," said Gregorio Zuazu Vela, interim chief executive officer of Corroventa.

Why now? Acquisitions sit at the centre of Volati's strategy. Tramex is its third add-on since mid-2025; together those deals have added about SEK 575 million in annual revenue.

The signal: Volati, which operates in 18 countries with about 1,700 employees and annual sales near SEK 4.3 billion, continues its buy-and-build model across the Nordics and wider Europe. "It shows our model at work, strengthening our platforms with complementary businesses like Tramex," said chief executive officer Andreas Stenbäck.
