Who are they? Founded in 1969 and based in Moorpark, California, Big Brand describes itself as one of the largest providers of non-discretionary automotive services in the US. Belle Tire, founded in 1922, operates across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.
By the numbers: The deal pushes Big Brand past $1.5 billion in revenue, positioning it among the nation's leading tire and automotive service businesses.
What's the endgame? Big Brand wants to build "the nation's leading independent tire and automotive service platform," said chief executive officer Joe Buscaglia. Central to its approach is EDGE Intelligence, a proprietary AI operating system it says reduces friction for frontline staff.
Why now? Since partnering with Percheron CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in 2021, Big Brand has grown through organic performance, frequent smaller acquisitions, and larger scale deals. It is backed by Percheron AI Ops, the investor's in-house applied AI engineering team.

Evercore acted as exclusive financial advisor to Big Brand, and Jefferies advised Belle Tire.
