Rothley Group lands eight-figure HSBC debt package to fund expansion

What's the endgame? Rothley, which operates Rothley Law and Money Redress, plans to use the facilities to strengthen working capital, improve financial flexibility, and create capacity for further investment. The funding will also bolster its office network across Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, and Reading, alongside its Leicester headquarters.

Why now? The company has tripled its team since 2023. The new package is expected to support a material increase in its revenue target by the end of 2026.

The signal: Rakesh Patel, relationship director at HSBC UK, said Rothley had "built real momentum, underpinned by a clear strategy, strong leadership and a proven track record of growth." Debt funding of this scale for a regional legal group points to appetite for backing profitable, scaling professional services firms outside London.
