Why now? Chief executive officer Nitin Malhotra said the company's Katra property — billed as Asia's highest-altitude pod hotel — reached almost break-even within its first two months and drew returning guests. NapTapGo also runs the largest pod hotel in Amritsar and gained attention after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 5.

The signal: At $960,000, NapTapGo's raise sits near the middle of comparable seed rounds — modest capital for a category still proving itself. But Inflection Point Ventures, which has deployed over ₹900 crore across more than 280 startups, is betting that budget hospitality built on a lean, partner-led model can scale where traditional hotels can't.
