Try Dealroom →, LLC, an asphalt manufacturing and construction business based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. What changes? Ellsworth will operate as a branded division of Overland CorporationDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, CPI's Oklahoma platform company. Nathan Ellsworth will continue to lead the business, keeping its customer relationships intact.

Why now? The deal gives CPI hot-mix asphalt plants in Broken Arrow and Greater Oklahoma City, plus crews serving what CEO Fred J. (Jule) Smith, III called "the two fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the state."

What's the endgame? CPI, a vertically integrated civil infrastructure company operating across eight Sunbelt states, wants to deepen its Oklahoma footprint. Smith noted Ellsworth "is a leader in the growing data center construction market" in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, work that complements Overland's data center portfolio in north Texas.

The signal: The acquisition ties a traditional roadbuilder to the data center boom, where developers need heavy sitework and paving. For CPI, whose business is mostly publicly funded roads, private data center demand offers a growth lane beyond highways and bridges.
