Presidio buys California's LookingPoint to expand West Coast, AI reach

What each does: Presidio builds IT foundations across AI, automation, security, networking, and computing for clients globally. LookingPoint, founded in 2010, offers design consulting, professional services, and managed services to enterprise customers.
What's the endgame? Presidio is pursuing what it calls an "AI-first growth strategy." The acquisition strengthens its core networking, security, and infrastructure practices while adding LookingPoint's engineers and AI capabilities.
Why California? The deal deepens Presidio's footprint in one of the country's top technology markets. "Our acquisition of LookingPoint strengthens our presence in one of the country's most prominent technology markets," said chief executive officer Bob Cagnazzi.
What changes for clients? LookingPoint's customers gain access to Presidio's national scale and expanded global portfolio. Both companies say existing clients and partners can expect continued service as the combined organisation grows across California and the wider US market.
Sean Barr, president and founder of LookingPoint, said joining Presidio lets his team "continue that mission with greater scale and new opportunities to support customers on their modernization journeys."
The signal: The deal reflects how IT services firms are consolidating around AI infrastructure, buying regional specialists to add capabilities and reach as enterprises modernise for AI transformation.
