CSL Group buys IoTM Solutions to power global eSIM orchestration
What's the deal? CSL GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a UK-based provider of critical connectivity, has acquired IoTM Solutions, a cloud-native platform for managing multi-operator IoT connectivity. The London-based deal, announced July 13, 2026, creates a single platform for eSIM orchestration across fragmented carrier systems. Terms were not disclosed.
What does IoTM do? Founded in 2015, IoTM integrates carrier systems, connectivity management platforms, and eSIM workflows into one managed service. It already handles more than 30 million SIMs, supports over 20 native integrations, and offers access to more than 100 mobile operators.
Why now? As IoT deployments expand globally, companies juggle SIMs, eSIM profiles, and carrier integrations across separate portals. That fragmentation slows onboarding and complicates compliance with shifting rules and permanent roaming restrictions.
What's the endgame? The acquisition positions CSL for a smooth transition to SGP.32, the GSMADealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s next-generation eSIM standard for IoT. Combined with CSL's rSIM resilience, which fails over between networks, the platform lets customers manage outages, local operator requirements, and roaming limits in one place. IoTM's system can scale to more than one billion SIMs.
What changes for customers? IoTM's team joins CSL, and the platform will continue supporting existing customers, operators, and service-provider partners. Clients can provision their full SIM infrastructure in hours rather than days.
"Joining CSL Group allows us to bring this capability to a wider global customer base," said Dan Amir, chief executive officer and co-founder of IoTM Solutions.
The signal: The deal reflects consolidation in IoT connectivity, where resilience and unified orchestration are becoming table stakes ahead of the SGP.32 shift. As deployments scale into the billions of devices, the winners will be those who can hide carrier complexity behind a single interface.
