Try Dealroom → (ASX:TRE) has secured a fully underwritten A$75 million (about $48 million) equity financing led by Eagle Eye Asset Holdings, a major shareholder. The raise is part of a broader A$395 million package to advance the Kobada Gold Project in Mali toward production.

What's the endgame? The money will fund development capital expenditure, exploration, and working capital as Toubani targets first production in the third quarter of 2027.

Who else is in? Eagle Eye also entered a A$242 million gold-stream agreement, letting it buy a portion of the project's future gold output at a discounted rate. Canaccord GenuityDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → managed the equity raise as joint lead manager and joint bookrunner.

By the numbers: At $48 million, the round ranks in the 91st percentile of post-IPO equity financings in Australia over the past four years, based on 1,522 comparable deals.

The signal: The financing reflects Eagle Eye's continued backing of Toubani and a push to expand in West Africa's gold sector, where a single strategic shareholder is funding both the equity and a stream against future production.
