PREMIRE buys Osaka's Bria to bundle weddings and 1.5-tier parties

What's the deal? Tokyo-based wedding company PREMIRE acquired all shares of Osaka wedding producer Bria on July 3, 2026, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. PREMIRE chief executive officer Tsubasa Shigetomi also took over as Bria's representative director.

What each side brings: PREMIRE runs "1.5次会Party PREMIRE," a producer of subscription-style and "1.5-tier" wedding parties, across Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Nagoya. Bria, founded in May 2014, operates the "Zero Happy Produce by YASUNAGA" and "MOOO WEDDING" services and holds a 5.0 rating across 291 Google reviews.

Why now? Wedding styles in Japan are fragmenting across ceremony-only, fee-based parties, 1.5-tier events, and after-parties. Couples often hire separate firms for the ceremony and the party, adding coordination work.

What's the endgame? The two firms plan to share venue networks, staff, and know-how to offer one-stop support from planning through the wedding-day party. They will start with mutual referrals and service links before consolidating offices.

What changes for customers? Bria's name, brand, services, and staff all continue. "Bria's service names, brands, and services continue, and employee jobs and conditions are maintained," the company said, though "Zero Happy Produce by YASUNAGA" stays limited to Osaka Prefecture under existing contracts.

The signal: The deal reflects consolidation in a wedding market splitting into ever more formats, as producers move to cover a couple's full experience under one roof.
