Try Dealroom →, an award-winning Dublin-based creative agency. The move pairs Ardmore's Northern Ireland presence with Bonfire's standing in the Republic of Ireland. Terms were not disclosed.

What's the endgame? Ardmore says the deal creates the only all-island agency proposition in the Irish market, giving clients access to advertising and communications expertise from Belfast to Dublin. Bonfire, founded by Ian Doherty and Seán Hynes in 2005, will keep operating as an independent Irish brand under Hynes.

Why now? To back the investment, Ardmore has taken new offices at 22 Ely Place in Dublin and is recruiting to strengthen its Irish operation.

The bigger network: Ardmore Group is a micro-network of marketing businesses including Ardmore, Built for Growth Digital, LK Communications, Confluence Consulting, and now Bonfire. It is also connected to more than 90 independent partner agencies across 50 countries through Worldwide Partners.

What they're saying: "This partnership means Ardmore Group now offers the only truly all-Ireland agency on the market," said John Keane, chairman and chief executive officer of Ardmore Group. Hynes said the deal lets Bonfire "keep the momentum going on our recent growth" while gaining "scale and specialist resources across the island."

The signal: The tie-up reflects continued consolidation among independent agencies, with regional players combining to offer clients cross-border scale without joining a global holding company.
