Try Dealroom → has raised €3 million in an early-stage round led by Linfa, an AgrifoodTech fund managed by Riello Investimenti SGRDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. Vinhood operates a proprietary platform that maps people through their taste preferences.

What's the endgame? Vinhood helps consumers choose products that match their tastes, needs, and lifestyles, while giving brands and retailers data to develop products and personalise experiences. The platform runs on three proprietary assets: a taste knowledge base of more than 3 million profiles, a methodology combining sensory science and artificial intelligence, and an engagement system guiding discovery, choice, and consumption.

Why now? The company operates in over 45 countries and plans to use the funding to strengthen its platform, expand into new product categories, and grow internationally. "The support of the Linfa fund team and, more broadly, the Riello Investimenti SGR network will enable us to expand our international presence," said chief executive officer Marco FregoneseDealroom has a profile for this one. Investor's view: Mauro Odorico, a partner at the Linfa fund, said agri-food innovation depends not only on new ingredients or processes but on "the ability to understand consumers with ever-greater precision." He framed Vinhood's mix of artificial intelligence, sensory science, and proprietary data as a tool for strategic decision-making across the supply chain.

The signal: At €3 million, the round sits around the middle of comparable early-stage deals — modest capital reflecting an emerging bet that taste data could become as central to consumer profiling as demographic and behavioural data are today.
